Philosophy
Regan Capital is a boutique advisory and capital raising practice based in Hong Kong focussed on meeting the needs of the energy, mining, infrastructure and finance industries within evolving markets in Asia Pacific. Strategically based in HK, we source and advise on working capital needs, structuring solutions which meet both investor profile and entrepreneurial needs.
We view evolving markets as a combination of emerging and frontier, which enjoy some of the highest growth rates, yet have limited capital market liquidity, such markets evolving from government to private-owned enterprises.
Essentially our business is based on three pillars of expertise:

- • Customisation - identify, structure and optimise working capital opportunities
- • Advisory - augmenting capital markets and optimising financial institutions
Our approach is to identify, evaluate and secure key opportunities for raising capital, assess the key factors influencing the success of the deal, provide sound on-the-ground due diligence and structure the deal in such a way as to provide full continuous transparency for investors. We commit to manage the operational element of each deal where required from inception to closure. Perhaps the most fundamental difference we bring to capital raising in frontier markets is that we believe strongly in direct investment over generic (often opaque) fund structures. Management oversight of specific projects enables us to remain fully open with investors for accurate monitoring and transparent reporting of the progress of their investments. Our investor client base primarily comprises pioneer investors, particularly Private Equity, Family Offices and specialised funds. We are based in Hong Kong as we believe this to be the optimal financial arbitration centre, is where east-meets-west, providing access to Evolving Markets and to the investment community.
